点评：My family were really looking forward to celebrating my daughter's 40 th birthday meal at the Jamaica inn .14 of us!. we rarely all get together and thought the inn the ideal place .but I'm afraid to say we were disappointed . My father wanted fish which was written on the specials board .to be told none left .his second choice was also unavailable .the puddings wanted also unavailable . We also found the young lady who looked after our table to be quite rude with a bit of an attitude . My daughter doesn't go out much she has a little boy with special needs who was also with us .so this was meant to be a really special get together . To add insult to injury she was told that if it was her actual birthday .(her actual 40 th birthday was the next day) .then she would have had a free meal . Even though we had 14 people there obviously spending a lot of money , ( I don't know why the lady serving us even needed to mention it )..the food was also over priced for what you had and most of us left hungry .
We had far better and friendlier! service for my son's 30 th birthday at the carnon inn ...that said... .is it the staffs fault ? They looked like they were under a lot of pressure and understaffed ..they had a couple of other big groups that evening .so maybe you need to take on extra staff to deal with these larger bookings .
