点评:I visited with 2 others at the beginning of the month, we were all really looking forward to it as we had been a few times before and loved the food. The 2 other members of the party had their food arrive at the table first. Over 20 minutes later my food still hadn't been served and the others had finished their meals. I went downstairs to ask how much longer I'd have to wait, and the lady at the till said she had already given me my food. I told her she hadn't, yet she insisted again that she had. She then turned to the Chef who said he wasn't told of my order. He then proceeded to make my meal (mixed skewers). When it finally arrived, I had a couple of mouthfuls before I noticed there was a large dead fly on my plate! I then took the plate downstairs to show the staff, and the lady complained to the chef saying "a dead fly again in another dish". I was astonished that this seemed to be regular occurrence. They said they'd make a fresh plate for me, I asked them to make me a Big Thak burger instead as I didn't want the same food being served to me on a new plate minus the dead insect. When it came to paying the bill, I had to ask for my meal to be deducted from the bill (this should have been common sense and basic customer service), the lady deducted the mixed skewers and added on a charge for the Big Thak burger which I disputed. The chef then made her see sense and she removed it from the bill.
A very disappointing experience overall with food hygiene, sub standard customer service (including the fact that the staff member was arguing with me that she had brought me my order when she hadn't!) and lack of communication between the staff. I wasn't nice having to eat while the other 2 members of the party had long finished their food. I don't know how accurate the food hygiene rating is, as the issue of dead flies was obviously something already known to the staff. Without these issues, I would have scored it a 4 or 5. Fix up please!
