Pied Bull的点评
点评：Visited on Sunday 27th April 2025 at 8pm with my family of 5 in total.
Ordered 5 large soft drinks at £3.20 each. They came with 3/4 of the glass full of ice and not very much drink in them.
Ordered some starters and main meals.
Ordered the salt and pepper calamari.
I got 6 small calamari rings for £9.
I ordered the special lamb rump.
It was special - it had an inch of congealed fat covering the small piece of lamb.
I decided to feedback all of the above to the manager as I felt it was unacceptable.
I spoke to Joseph, who answered the above queries in the following way.
1. Drinks - it was the companies policy to serve drinks with ice and not his doing.
2. Calamari - it was the companies policy on portion sizes.
3. Fatty meat - the chef apologised.
I find the total lack of ownership from a manger of your business incredible.
The manager did not seem to care about the feedback given and didn’t try to address any of the issues.
Surprising, as we’ve been to the pied bull on many occasions and had reasonably good experiences.
Clearly we won’t be returning.
