The Greek - Darfield的点评
点评：We visited the greek on a friday evening at 7pm for the first time. I rang at 4pm on friday to make a reservation and was told we could arrive any time as there was no other reservations, this was slightly worrying for a friday night but we are so glad we went!
When we arrived we found our selves in a newly refurbished take away but the steating area was like no other take away, the 4/5 rustic wooden tables and new blue leather tables gave a lovely feel.
We were seated and given menus which are the same menu as the take away menu, it is small but comprehencive all areas were covered of your greek favorites. I went to the front to oder and was greeted by who I asume is the owner who was extremely friendly and made us feel right at home he even offered to make my order exactly how I like it even though it isnt on the menu.
When the food arrived we were blown away with the portion sizes! The plates were piled high. Normally restaurant mask bland, badly cooked food with large portions but not here! Everything tasted great, and authentic and was cooked to perfection.
When we were just about finished the owner came over to talk with us and ask how everyhing was. He even gave us a holiday reccomendation to go to crete! It felt lime chatting with an old friend.
The only down side to the greek is the over atmosphere when sat in to eat as there is few people eating in it is now the usual hustle and bustle of a restaurant. Although there was lots of takeaway/delivery orders rang though.
If you are unsure to try the greek i 100% reccommend! And we will be visiting again to sit in and taking family!
