点评：Had a takeaway from Magic Spices.
This was a return to the restaurant following a long gap, as my usual choice for Indian food was closed.
Delivery was prompt, pleasant and extremely courteous. I was very impressed.
Unfortunately, I have to say the food didn’t match the quality of the service.
Poppadoms didn’t have the required crispness and were a tad soggy toward the centre (though the variety of the chutney tray was very good).
My main course, a dupiaza, was bland and there was a distinct shortage of peppers.
I did have a side order of Bombay Aloo, but that dish suffered from the same issue as the others. They were all far too salty. Salt is not really the taste you expect from Indian food, but my dishes were ruined by the amount of salt used in each, and it was salt that was the taste left on my palate.
A shame as the owners seem to try so hard to create a good impression. I hope they take this review as being constructive criticism, as I’d love to be proved wrong in the future.
