点评:A sunny Sunday means one thing for us a ‘spoons breakfast! Sadly this occasion can only be described at best as ‘disappointing’ (and that is very rare as we are ‘spoons super fans). On the way in through the beer garden I spotted someone having scrambled eggs on toast it looked lovely and I thought I’d try it instead of my usual small breakfast … but as Julia Roberts once said ‘big mistake’. We’d missed the early rush noticing tables were being cleared so with high hopes & fingers crossed I placed our order online; the coffee cups arrived followed a few minutes later by our food. Hubby’s toast was great as always but the scrambled eggs were string& spongey with a huge unappetising lump of egg white (the size of a large plum). I made a wrap around sandwich with some egg that looked edible & one slice of toast ~ I left the other slice which was really soggy & the inedible eggs. Usually we get asked if everything was ok but on this occasion we didn’t hence this review. It shouldn’t have been plated up, or brought to the table ~ kitchen & server ‘training issues’ imo hence on this occasion ‘disappointing’ :(
