点评：WARNING: DO NOT GO HERE...EVER!!! STONED/DRUNK WAITRESS WITH AN OX RING IN HER NOSE. IF YOU DECIDE TO BRAVE THIS AWFUL PLACE AFTER READING THIS REVIEW YOUR FINAL PIECE OF ADVICE IS RUN OUT THE DOOR IF OX RING IS YOUR WAITRESS!!! Don't say you weren't warned...
Went into the restaurant today - a Sunday - at 3:00. At 2:50 PM I called ahead to ask if they had milk for our 4 year old or if I should bring some. The person answering the phone said "of course they had milk no worries". We were greeted by a waitress with an Ox Ring (let's call her Ox Ring) and, based on her voice, it was the same person who answered the phone. There were virtually no other customers but at least another waitress and kitchen staff we could see.
Ox Ring sat us down (actually said "sit wherever you want to" and staggered away). The filthy food covered paper menus should have been our first clue to leave, but we were hungry. The worn out decor and furniture had all the ambience and charm of a post-apocalyptic cafeteria.
Ox Ring came back a few minutes later to take our order. She was staggering and practically falling down and her speech was slurred. It took 5 minutes to order two beers, a milk, water and two pizzas. She made us repeat the order 4 times because she couldn't remember it (and had no order pad or pen). As to our request for milk, she said they don't have milk because "no one ever asks for it and it just spoils downstairs". Our 4 year old has special needs, only drinks milk. Still, we were all hungry and stayed.
Ox Ring came back staggering and slurring 10 minutes later with two beers. She said she forgot what the other drink orders were so we reminded her it was water. She then said she dropped it on the way to the table and forgot what it was. We should
have left at this point but we were very hungry and at least the food had been ordered - so we thought. [The fact that the kitchen staff was standing around doing nothing seemed suspicious.]
Ox Ring came back 10 minutes later and asked what we wanted to order to eat. I reminded her we had ordered and, with a truly bovine look, she said she had gotten us our drinks and forgotten to place our order. She then headed towards the kitchen, stopped short, and started speaking with the other waitress who appeared uncomfortable around her. Let's call her "Uncomfortable Waitress".
After a few minutes my wife approached both Ox Ring and Uncomfortable Waitress to ask how much longer this would be. Ox Ring looked completely bovine and confused, and Uncomfortable Waitress said nothing and looked at the floor. Ox Ring then staggered backwards and almost fell on her butt.
At that point I got up and told Uncomfortable Waitress "enough, we are done". I put down $20 on the table to cover the two beers and water. I was not going to wait for change. Uncomfortable Waitress begged me to stay and talk to someone, an owner or manager or someone about the stoned and drunk waitress. I declined and told her their drunk employee is their problem. We left.
Well, you have been warned, might I recommend the other hundred restaurants in the area instead?
