点评：What a disappointment from what was once a great dining experience. Our meal at AH fell far below expectations. The steak was cooked to the correct temperature but was severely under-seasoned. The “lobster” consisted of small pieces, resembling something canned rather than fresh.
The veggie bowl was an uninspired disaster—cold applesauce-like smear, lukewarm, chewy, oily rice, and a random assortment of bagged almonds, cauliflower, and hard, barely edible squash. It felt like an amateur thrown-together at home meal when the pantry is nearly empty.
Our server’s attitude didn’t help either. She seemed more suited for the Glider diner, short and quick spoken, coming off as aloof, inattentive, and unengaged. Shockingly, we were charged for a refill of soda from the bar gun—a cheap, tacky move for a place attempting to position itself as upscale.
On top of that, we called multiple times about the NYE menu and received conflicting answers. Ultimately, the menu was never shared, and the regular menu wasn’t available either, despite assurances to the contrary. When we brought it up, the server seemed indifferent acted like she was going to check on it and then ignored our question trying to hurry our order.
To make matters worse, someone who appeared to be a manager occupied two bar seats, drinking, hanging out, and compulsively wiping the counter rather than addressing the subpar experience around him. The music was reminiscent of amateur karaoke night, and the poor acoustics made the atmosphere unbearable.
It’s clear the establishment is trying to be something it’s not. For those who think this is the pinnacle of dining, I genuinely feel sorry. AH used to be great, but this experience proved otherwise.
