阿伦敦伯利恒中心谷Homewood Suites by Hilton的点评
点评：Why can't most hotels be anywhere near this professional? This Homewood far exceeds the vast majority of hotels in its attention to all the details that make your money well spent.
The property is impeccably clean everywhere, including the suites, fitness center, elevator, dining area, lobby, etc. Virtually everything is up-to-date. No old and tattered furnishings or appliances. The TVs are big and new with plenty of channels. The mattress was perfect firmness for good sleeps. The shower is a big walk-in and not the old bathtub format. There's dispensers for moisturizer and soap at the bathroom sink, and dispensers for shampoo, conditioner, and body rinse in the shower--and the good kind without chemicals or cruelty to animals. The gym is humungous for a hotel, although it needs mats, and during my two weeks there, my request was not heeded and I uncomfortably had to do my floor routine on a bath towel. The breakfast is off the charts, especially for a vegan like me, with a mountain of fresh melon and often really nice clementines. Shockingly every morning the buffet includes tortillas with some good plant-based fixings like outstanding homemade guac! Same for the snack bar which has about a dozen healthy vegan goodies you never find in other hotels.
All the staff are patient and pleasant and professional. Special shoutouts to awesome food staffers Alex and Gary who make you feel at home and graciously honour any requests, like mine to see ingredients. True stars. At the front desk Michael, Arielis and Sharon are unfailingly friendly, patient, and very sincerely prepared to accommodate any reasonable requests you ever have.
My only other issues besides the gym mats are that the rooms need some stronger lighting, especially the bedroom which has a couple of dim lamps, and there's a party venue on the ground floor that can get loud Saturday nights and reverberate throughout the building till about 10:30 PM. That's not acceptable.
But overall this Hilton is in my all-time top five out of hundreds of hotels I've stayed at and considered. A very rare class act.🥇
