点评：We decided to celebrate our 48th wedding anniversary at La Malbec because we had heard it was upscale dining. We expected high prices but also expected high quality food and service. The menus were a single sheet of paper. Upon entering the host seated us and gave us the menus which were a single sheet of paper. We waited about 10 minutes and the waiter arrived who happened to be the host who seated us. As he filled our water glasses, he told us they were seriously understaffed and those working were doing double duty. We ordered our appetizers and meals. It took 20 minutes to get the appetizers. No bread was served while we waited. The appetizers were expensive but also very good. It took another half hour to get our entrees. I had beef bourguignon. It was a relatively small portion and included a small amount of garlic mashed potatoes. It tasted okay but was not exceptional. My wife's meal was a disaster. She ordered a fish called corvina and it came with risotto. The fish was terribly undercooked making most of it inedible and the risotto was ice cold. We didn't see the waiter until our meals were almost done. We complained about my wife's meal. The chef came to our table and to his credit he took responsibility for the failure and removed my wife's entree from our bill ($44). I was glad we received satisfaction but I much rather would have wanted to pay the $44 for my wife to have an outstanding meal. on this special occasion. As this was our first trip to this restaurant, it will probably be our last.
