点评：Over that way, stopped for lunch. which used to be great - with servers like Eliza and Veronica - sort of 'old days'. The owner is odd - only hires young women for bar and table service - usually only men for cooks. I've been a Long-time customer of Mac's and the Nickels - Eliza is now in Sublimity, which is nice.
Asked for a Boneyard - 'we don't have any' - server I didn't know recommended another IPA - which was very good. OK. Ordered a sandwich - which I saw sitting in the kitchen window at least 5 - 10 minutes before someone brought it to me - servers going back and forth all the time - the original server I had just disappeared shortly after she brought my beer.
Food was mediocre - I usually eat the same - used to be very good - now they have new cooks who just throw things together...
But the capper was the bill - the owner has always charged too much for beer - Boneyard has been $6 - which other places is at Least a buck less. This 'new' IPA, he's charging $7 for a pint. I'm done with the Nickels and Mac's - totally not worthy of a visit anymore. Slow, indifferent service, overpriced, poor cooking. I'm done. Too bad - the staff pay for his incompetence - the ones who know me know I always leave 20% cash tip or more - they're the ones who will suffer.
