点评：I seldom write negative reviews, but this was earned. We expected a wonderful meal but were really disappointed by the food and left feeling absolutely ripped off by the high prices and low value. We had been here years ago and have raved to many people about the food, so had high expectations. Maybe we ordered the wrong things, but we've had fast food that tasted better. We're both big fans of Caesar salad, but not the ones we ordered here were maybe the worst we've had anywhere - unfortunately, the nicely fresh lettuce and a large amount of Parmesan couldn't mask the highly acidic dressing that tasted only of lemon and garlic, with no hint of "classic" Caesar creaminess or other flavors. I ordered a dinner Caesar salad for $22, with halibut added for an extra $24. I expected a nice piece of fish, but it turned out to be a very small piece (1 1/2" x 3" x 1/2" thick that was dry (overcooked) and underseasoned. $46 for that salad was an inexcusable gouge. The baguette we ordered was doughy and the dipping oil didn't have a trace of the promised balsamic. My husband described his meal (fried oysters) as much more expensive but no better than what chain restaurants serve, with a small slaw he didn't care for. Years ago, I had a wonderful and unique soup here, but the night's offering of black bean soup didn't tempt me. Maybe that would have been a better choice. Service was spotty with long waits and poor sequencing, maybe due to the kitchen and not the server? On a positive note, the cocktails were delicious, adding a star to the review. We're actually not picky eaters or hard to please, but the high price we paid for food that didn't justify the expense irked us to the point that we won't be back. Very disappointed.
