Its nice if you are ok with just seeing the land from a boat

点评：The website said you had a 90 percent chance of seeing whales. I drove almost 2 hrs to get there and it was cold and there was no parking. I walked down from the main drag and was squirted by a couple of men washing fish right in front of the doors to the bathroom. I guess there's no other set up but right there. I went back to my car and put a sweatshirt on over my sweater as I was now damp. Hurried all the way back to the boat. The captain didn't tell me his name. No info was given we just headed out. Spent the 90 minutes on the water and we didn't see anything.
No whales.
I enjoyed the cliffs and chatting with the couple in front of me. Being on the water was cool. The captain did say he was sorry that there was no whales. Talked to other people getting off other boats and they said there was no whales. Talked to a guy at the whale observation tower across the street who said that he and his wife did the same boat I did the day before and there was no whales. Employee working at the whales observation said the only whales seen that week was 1 calf and its mother.
It was a little disappointing and I think its because they promise that 90 percent. I think the site should be fair and not say that so there's not high expectations.
