Broadway 10 Bar & Chophouse的点评
点评：We drove from North Texas to OKC to attend an event the next day, and needed a place for dinner. The receptionist at our hotel suggested Broadway10 Bar & Chophouse. We walked six blocks in end-of-June afternoon heat to “Automobile Alley.” It is a very interesting neighborhood. Broadway10 is in the Buick Building (former automobile showroom). The Pontiac Building is east from it across Broadway. The oldest commercial building in the state (1904 – three years before OK statehood) is across the street to the south.
The edifice is almost a hundred years old, but has been renovated to a modern style. The dining area is two stories tall, with enormous windows providing view of NW 10th St and N Broadway Ave.
Our waiter, George, was an absolutely delight. He knew all the menu and off-menu items and made great recommendations. The a-la-carte side dishes are served family style, with each serving enough for two people. Not wanting to leave too much food on the table, we ordered a “flight” of sides: our choice of about half-servings of each of three sides. This worked perfectly with our order of a single ribeye steak which was cooked and served exactly as we wanted.
Broadway10 is not inexpensive, but we think we got what we paid for.
