点评：We traveled almost non-stop from Tyler TX directly to Sid’s...plenty of time to work up a huge appetite. Based on all that we had reviewed, we had high expectations; and we weren’t disappointed. Ordered the traditional Sid’s burger with lettuce, tomato and cheese with a side order of fries. AND root beer! Our server provided us with individual knife and fork and left us wondering why were the utensils needed for a burger? Simple: the meat, onions and the thin buns combined to make a burger that fell apart when we attempted to hand hold! Both the burgers and the fries were prepared right in front us as we sat at the counter. Suffice it to say, our meal could not have been served any faster or hotter. We were there for when most eating places are recovering from lunch and prepping for dinner. Not so for Sid’s at 2:45 in the afternoon; apparently there is very little downtown for this popular stop on Route 66. Service was outstanding; the food ever better; and the tab was more than reasonable. Highly recommend!!!
