点评:We did not have reservation, and they told us a 25 minute wait, as they had told the other three or four people that were there before us ! After half an hour, we noticed some empty tables in the actual restaurant were open, but none of the people ahead of us called to get their table. So my daughter questioned how much longer it would be. The hostess said another 25 minutes. My daughter asked about the empty tables in the restaurant and the hostess became very snippy and said they only had one server and she could not sit anyone in the actual restaurant. My daughter said, well u should have told us that 25 minutes ago and we could have gone somewhere else if we knew we had to wait an hour for dinner. The hostess said “ YOU STILL CAN “ ! this was Friday 9-29-23! We went to the Mediterranean, right around the corner ( which was amazing, by the way) ! We had friends that had 7:00 pm reservations at the General Denver and they had not been served their food at 8:30 pm … and we had our food ordered, served and very happy before they even got their food ! The hostess and the girl behind the desk at entry way, should definitely learn a little about customer service! And how to treat people ! They should not have had to keep people waiting and tell then be so snippy, they should be upfront under these circumstances. Maybe they need trained a little better. Or u should get more experienced staff without an attitude ! The food at General Denver has always been okay, and the service has never been the best ! But to have a hostess get snippy with customers that have been very patient for 30 minutes, is definitely not going to boost their reputation ! BTW…the Mediterranean food was amazing ! This restaurant has their ducks in a row !
Wonder why they don’t have staffing problems, and the General Denver does ? THINK ABOUT IT !
