点评:My friend and I went early for dinner at 4:30 (today, a Thursday). Service was decent, drinks were good (there were a variety of specialty cocktails). We tried three cocktails, which were all really good. My salad was delicious! She had the Steak Oscar which she said was great. I try to compare steaks from throughout the area and I was very disappointed with mine. I ordered the 16 oz dry aged strip, medium-rare. It was overcooked, medium at best. It had a lot of gristle and it was oh so salty! I love salt, but this was WAY too much. I had the Mac 'n cheese, which was good, but it was also way too salty (and a small portion)! I had tried the Scratch in Carrollton (last year, I believe) and also got the dry aged strip but made the mistake of getting one of the (included) sauces. I'm not one for sauces on my steak, so I blamed that on myself because I did not like it at all. I decided to try Scratch again, but I was still disappointed. I recently started to follow Dereck Malone's recommendations. He said how the owner/chef was so involved and went to every table. I did not see him get up once and go to ANY table to ask how things were tonight. He seemed bored & disinterested at the bar. I will not be back. 😒
