点评：First time in Haywards Heath and was meeting a friend for brunch. Came across The Star pub. Great selection of pub food classics and a very impressive selection of beers and ciders on drafts and cocktails. Perfect for drinks after work with your work friends.
As it was a sunny day, we were delighted to find out there was a beer garden for us to enjoy our food and drinks and catch the South East Coast sunshine. Just perfect.
The staff and the general manager Jed were just ever so friendly and welcoming, couldn’t do enough for you. Jed even gave us ‘out of towners’ recommendations of places of interest in the local area to visit. We also noticed he was walking around other tables of patrons and making sure they had everything they ordered and needed and engaged in friendly banter with everyone. He was the perfect host.
We enjoyed our visit so much we will definitely be coming back, thank you to everyone at the Star who made our first ever visit so welcoming and a big thanks to Jed especially.
