点评：I recently went to The Crown & Thistle for a solo lunch date & very much enjoyed my visit. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, friendly & made me feel welcome despite the fact that I was dining alone. I was lucky enough to sit on the table right by the fire, so felt very warm & cosy throughout my visit. I ordered the Zucca pizza, but switched the mozzarella to vegan cheese & the spinach to mushrooms. My pizza arrived quickly after ordering & was fantastic - a decent size, generous toppings, a thin base & a thick pillowy crust - freshly cooked in the dedicated pizza oven on-site. The staff were attentive without being overbearing, regularly checking if I needed drinks & brining some delicious extra-virgin olive oil to drizzle over my pizza. I wasn’t made to feel rushed or awkward even though I was eating alone & will definitely visit again in the future.
