点评：We really wanted to visit this place after reading the reviews and seeing images of the food.
We were in Alnwick for a couple of days and it was closed on our first day.
On the second day we got there just after 12 and it was full with 2 lots of people already waiting for a table.
No knowing how long we'd have to wait we decided to go to another cake shop nearby.
From what we saw of the interior it was quirky and the food looked fabulous.
Because we really wanted to try the strawberry lounge we decided to return later for coffee, after our visit to Alnwick gardens.
The sign outside showed it was open to 4pm.
We got to the cafe at 3.10pm to find the entrance door shut and locked.
We were very disappointed as we'd walked around the Alnwick castle all morning then the Alnwick gardens on the afternoon. We were shattered, having walked over 16,000 steps that day and were really ready for a coffee. Had we known it was shut we would have had a coffee in Alnwick gardens cafe.
On the plus side walking to and from this cafe a couple of times that day contributed to our fitness!
I would suggest that if anyone wants to try this cafe you get there early. Don't leave it until after 3pm as they may be closed. Perhaps they close once the food has all been sold.
