Kettering Railway Station的点评
点评：Kettering Railway station is just on the edge of the town centre and about 10-15 minutes walk from the main shopping area depending on how fast you walk.
The main station buildings still have MR on them showing that they were formerly part of the Midland Railway harking back to their railway heritage.
There is quite a spacious foyer with a ticket office. There are barriers to get onto the platform and on platform 1 there is a Pumpkin cafe where you can get hot drinks or snacks. Alternatively close to the station there is a convenience store where you may be able to get drinks and snacks a little cheaper.
The station is served by trains from London going to Corby as well as longer distance services to Leicester with connections for Nottingham, Derby and Sheffield.
I was very impressed with the station canopies which are very ornate. Definitely worth taking a bit of time to admire.
The staff I encountered were all really friendly and helpful.
