点评：We went in as a family of 4, 2 adults and two kids, we had a great time until we went on the claw machine, my partner had won a toy on one of the claw machines for one of the children and we went onto another machine to try and win another toy for the other child, on the first attempt my partner won the toy, she was jumping for joy, the machine picked it up took it over the hole to drop the toy but it didn’t release it, it held it over the hole for about 5 seconds but didn’t drop. I asked the staff if that was part of the game or if it was a malfunction and he said a malfunction and that he would check the cctv because it was on a 5 minute loop he would come find us in 5 minutes and if what we said was genuine he would give us the toy. We continued playing the machines, he walked past us about 5 times and said nothing. I went and asked him again. He said the cctv is not clear enough, it shows the toy near the hole but cannot categorically determine from the angle of the cctv what happened, now the camera is at a right angle from the machine, not obscured from my partner jumping for joy at winning it first attempt, he should easily be able to see the claw pausing with the toy over the hole and the malfunction, I stated this and just got the reply “company policy” I explained the child is autistic and is already disgruntled at the wait for her toy and it fell on deaf ears, we left with pockets full of 2ps as we were not prepared to give them any money with a child having a 30 minute melt down because she knew she had won and learning a valuable lesson that life’s not fair and not everyone is nice.
