点评：Joined a friend for a coffee. Was told the price of my coffee was not enough to pay by card and a notice announcing minimum spend by card was pointed out to me. The coffee was not cheap. I do not carry cash but had a five pound note I had managed to get by giving a friend £10.00 for two fives which would be my collection at church on Sunday. I was both embarrassed by this and forced to use it as otherwise my friend would have been forced to pay for me. The owner said she had to pay for card transactions and it was only because or regulars that she kept going. The charge is 2% and many card companies say it is illegal to display this notice and put it into force. As we sat with our coffee we got very cold. A group of people were all wearing their coats. It is quite obvious this cafe is doing it’s best to keep overheads low at the cost to it’s clients. Most unpleasant experience all round and will not return and will warn friends off.
