点评：I'm extremely suspicious of all the five star reviews here. The meal I ordered was literally the worst Indian I have ever had.
Firstly, a delivery charge of £2.95. Really? Most Indians are free delivery. Hey, I could have gone elsewhere, so we'll let that slide.
On the plus side the food arrived bang on time, and was hot. That's pretty much the only redeeming feature of the review.
Chicken - tasted "old", chewy and entirely without flavour. Really would have struggled to identify it as chicken if I hadn't known what was (supposed) to be in it. Sauce - where it should have been buttery and creamy, had the consistency of water, with a layer of grease swimming on top. Rice was okay - it's hard to screw up a standard pilau rice. Bombay aloo - meh. Bland. Nothing particularly wrong with it, but generally pretty insipid. Keema Nan - wow! Literally dripping with grease - and I really DO mean dripping. There's absolutely no way this Nan was done in an oven. A couple of tiny shards of meat in the bread. Absolutely inedible. The whole meal was very poor quality, and tasted of.....nothing, really. So disappointing.
I fancied a change but this place is not in the same league as the Bengal Spice or the Turan. But then, none of the Indians in Hatfield are in the same league as the ones in Welwyn. If you want consistently great Indian food, look a little further afield and go for the Neem Tree or the Don in WGC. I've learnt my lesson the hard way, I'm sorry to say.
