Thursday 13 April 2023. Ordered a takeaway on line for a local delivery 2.8 miles away.
The food arrived within the allotted time and was delivered by a very pleasant chap.
Unfortunately that was where the positive comments end. I have reviewed on Madhuban site
Two rather sad Samosas were undercooked, soggy, rather oily and not particularly flavourful and certainly not the crispy vibrant parcels one might expect. The sliced lamb was tough, the sauce it came with was lacklustre and quite dull. The Peshwari naan was undercooked, soggy and chewy though it did have a reasonable flavour but none of the fruits on might expect in a Peshawari naan, just some sort of very sweet coconut / Almond paste. I have had better shop bought naan to be honest.
Overall a very disappointing meal that according to the menu should have been very good. I realise that it was a delivered take away and therefore not straight out of the kitchen. However Madhuban to go is only 6 minutes away from my home. Unfortunately this is the second takeaway I have had with a similar outcome. I doubt I will be using the Madhuban service again.
