点评：We were guests at Franco's in Clacton for the first time in June 2023. The food was outstanding, but the waiter far exceeded the food. We have never experienced such fantastic service. The young man was absolutely world class in every aspect of his entire demeanor. This year we wanted to enjoy it all again, but we were bitterly disappointed. As soon as we entered the restaurant we noticed that all the tables were obviously set with unironed sheets that were pulled crooked and crooked over the tables. The waitress, a young woman, wandered around the restaurant rather listlessly and it was clear that she had no qualities for this job. She wore her extra-long hair down, which we think is quite unappetizing. She was inattentive, cleared our plates at different times and, although she had already served coffee, left the small gravy boat on our table with a smeared edge of dark sauce. She only noticed this when she shuffled past our table for the third time. I would like to mention that there was only one customer in the restaurant other than us, and she sat and chatted with her while we ate. The menu consisted of well over 90% fish dishes, so I chose chicken fillet with pasta. The meat tasted like pork, I found the noodles to be inappropriate with the meat, but the sauce the noodles were in was super tasty. The pasta itself was in the water for too long, I cook it better. We found the bill to be unreasonably high. We won't be coming back and won't recommend it.
