Bill's Chelmsford的点评
点评：We decided to give Bill’s the benefit of the doubt after our first poor experience. We booked a table for 6 people after having to confirm our credit card details twice, we arrive at 5pm, the table wasn’t reserved but it was ok as there were very few people there. We ordered our food, shortly after two tables of 6 and 8 arrived
Their food was served quite quickly, we waited until 6.10 and we only ordered a main course. The two steak were fine, though one was considerable smaller than the other, the burger was fine BUT the bbq platter with the ribs could not be eaten, the ribs were cold and soggy, I also don’t recommend the unusual taste that was nothing like bbq I’ve ever tried , also understand we were not the only people complaining about this.
The waitresses were apologetic and immediately offered to take them off the bill, but that didn’t really help the hungry two people of which one had a birthday.
This is the second visit and both times the service was slow and there was a problem with the food, we had dessert which was nice but we were there almost 3 hours for a main and dessert.
The prices do not reflect the service or the quality of the food.
We shall not be returning which is a shame as the decor is very nice
