点评：I decided to try Shelly’s Bistro in Swaffham after researching local cafés for breakfast. It looked promising, especially with a 5-star food hygiene rating displayed outside.
When I arrived, the young girl behind the counter was pleasant and welcoming. Apart from her, the only people there were the owner (who I later realised was the one cooking my breakfast) and a gentleman sitting with her at a table.
I ordered a full English breakfast and a coffee. I was quite shocked at how expensive it was, considering it was a fairly basic meal. I paid and sat down, and around 20 minutes later, my breakfast arrived, along with one slice of toast.
The breakfast itself was very small for the price — definitely not good value. What really bothered me, though, was that the woman who had cooked my breakfast (presumably the owner) sat down and began vaping at the table while I was eating. I found it really off-putting and frankly unacceptable, especially in a place where food is being served and eaten.
During my entire visit, not a single other customer came in, which added to the odd atmosphere. Between the high price, small portion, and the owner vaping indoors, I won’t be returning.
