Cliff Top Cafe & Beach Shop的点评
点评：Disappointing service today. Ventured here on my own as a repeat customer. Ordered a cup of tea and slice of apple pie. Having been before and had the same, always asked if I want cream with it, which I take is part of the desert.
Paid for the items and I then asked if I could have some cream with it. Was informed that I could but that would be 80 pence and did I have a pound on me.
Explained no which is why I paid by card. Was told 80p was too low an amount to pay with card therefore nothing that can do.
Others may disagree, however I don't think it would have taken alot to squirt some cream as a way of good customer service.
Response from staff was effectively 'Tough'
Despite me trying to communicate that I didn't think it would have taken alot especially as I was not asked at time of ordering if I wanted any cream, the staff attitude was rude and dismissive.
Following me taking said desert and tea out to the front of the cafe to consume, I could hear the staff member who I assume was the owner discussing me with other customers referring to me as "another happy customer "
Not somewhere I will be looking to return to after what I deem as a lack of customer service.
The other reviews with low ratings are correct in my opinion.
