点评：Today I got let go from Brew Brothers for standing up for a disabled employee. Let’s start from the beginning, acouple weeks ago Brew got a new General Manager, this man has worked in several Restaurants, and was hired to make brew a better place to work, eat and play. So far this man has done nothing but show disrespect to the employees. On multiple accounts I witnessed this man speaking to a disabled employee using a tone as if he were a child and also mocking his soft spoken voice to his face! My next shift after witnessing him do these things, the General Manager asked me if there was anything I would like to talk about that has been going on in the restaurant. I took that as an opportunity to express how I felt about him treating this disabled person poorly.. I may have gotten a slight tone with him but only due to how upset I was after seeing one be treated that way! I told him that ultimately, what I thought of him did not matter and we needed to treat work like work, but I did not like the way he treated this employee. This resulted in me being fired with no warning or conversation!!
