点评：HIGH MARKS FOR LOBY’S RESPONSE TO A COMPLAINT – ERIC BROOKE SUSPENDED: On Sunday, July 28, 2024, I was wrongfully shouted down and embarrassed by host Eric Brooke at “Eric Brooke’s Open Jam,” accused of “speaking politics and religion,” leading Eric Brooke to create a nasty scene with waving his hands, pointing, and shouting into the mic about “politics and religion,” all without explanation. Hence my complaint.
On Sept 21, 2024, after two months of investigation, Eric Brooke admitted that he had fabricated the “politics and religion” theme (as he was not even on the patio - he was inside the bar, behind a closed door), was only responding to cheering and clapping I’d received for a rising-tide-lifts-all-boats type thank you to my fellow veterans who were present, and he had chosen to assume my shoutout was political, resulting in generating the uncalled-for scene.
ERIC BROOKE SUSPENSION DETAILS: As a result of his actions, Loby’s suspended Eric Brooke for two weeks. I asked Loby’s, on Brooke’s behalf, to lift his suspension, with conditions.
UPDATE: As of Sept 21, 2024, Loby’s has met every condition, and Eric Brooke’s suspension has been lifted.
