点评：We didn't want to drive directly from Charters Towers to Emerald so decided a one night stopover here would be good. We booked a powered site but didn't realise until we pulled into our spot that they didn't have water, that's ok we should have a bit in our tanks. We were able to stay hitched up for the night another plus on a one night stay. Our problem was the internet service was intermittent around the camp and there wasn't any TV reception. We took our devices to the bar in the afternoon hoping the reception might be better, it was marginally. We decided to have dinner at the roadhouse to save setting the Weber up for one night. There were only six items on the menu and we chose the lamb shanks which as it turned out were excellent but far too much for me to eat so I took a doggy bag home. We had an early night with nothing to do once we returned to our van. We filled up with fuel when we first arrived and this was the dearest cost for diesel we have had so far at $249.9 per litre, the sites were also a bit expensive for what we got at $32 a night. It is what it is and we enjoyed our stay.
