点评:A good friend of ours arranged for my wife and I to eat with her at Blume when we were visiting Boonah.
We were both staggered to find a truly world class dining establishment in the relatively small country town of Boonah.
It was a degustation menu for $115 per person, with options to add Coffin Bay Oysters to the lineup at the opening, or a very unique Lamb and Garlic Sanga (sandwich) in the middle. My wife went for the oysters, and me the Sanga, and both were delightful.
Every course was delightful, both simple, and complex, and very imaginative, with every flavour combination working.
The Chef Jack Stuart who owns Blume has a pedigree from the UK in Michelin Star restaurants, and has earned his own hat in Melbourne as a chef and owner. Now due to family connections in Boonah, this area gets the benefit of his training and experience.
Boonah being only an hour from the southwestern edge of Brisbane is an easy drive, and Blume is absolutely a destination restaurant.
