Our perfect, quirky, silver anniversary party venue
The Northern Light Cinema的点评
点评：My Husband and I celebrated our 25th silver wedding anniversary in August 2023 so when it came to planning a party to celebrate we decided that the Northern lights cinema in Wirksworth would be the perfect venue for a small friends and family get together as we visit the cinema often and love it there.
We rented the whole cinema for a Saturday evening including the 2 bars staff for a very reasonable fee.
We organised to play our wedding video ( We had it edited by Grant from VIDIGI media services and converted from VHS to DVD) on the cinema screen and also a movie of our choice (with a license fee) attached.
We also organised to have lots of our photos on a loop to be displayed on the screen with our chosen playlist of music playing through our speaker.
We also renewed our wedding vows in the stage which was soooo amazing!
We had 35 guests and the space fit us all in perfectly.
We set up a buffet in the glass entrance porch which freed up the whole bar for drinks and mingling.
The bar is gorgeous and has a wide range of drinks.
The cinema its self is so classy and quirky.
It’s absolutely beautiful.
It just feels such a special place to be.
With comfy chairs and sofas, cushions and blankets.
The royal box at the top was particularly unique with a curtained entrance and eccentric furniture and decor.
We were allowed to decorate too which was fun.
There’s plenty of parking close by.
The whole evening was absolutely perfect and everything we hoped it would be.
All our guests loved the evening too and expressed how impressed they were with the party and venue.
The owners and Staff were extremely helpful.
They were easily contacted and we always had fast replies and nothing was too much trouble.
Would highly recommend for a visit to the cinema or to plan your own quirky party.
