点评:First visit here. Didn’t get off to the best start as we were greeted with a grumpy “Everyone’s arrived at the same time “ from a surly lady, although the rest of the staff were more helpful.
Next thing that I didn’t like, having ordered a G&T was for it to be served with all the tonic already in it. I was given a goldfish bowl sized glass full of liquid, ice and sliced orange which I assume had some gin somewhere in it. Note to bar staff - let the customer decide how much tonic they like added to their gin. Don’t drown it.
The duck itself was beautifully cooked, but the chef must have worked hard to create fondant potatoes that were dry and hard. They had clearly been hanging around for quite some time. Note to chef - a sprig of tender stem broccoli, even if artistically arranged, does not constitute a portion of vegetables.
Chocolate mousse was very good, but the Eton mess was short on meringue and fruit.
All in all, could do better.

巧克力慕斯很好吃,但伊顿的什锦早餐缺少蛋白霜和水果。
总而言之,可以做得更好。
