Nice hotel with a couple of issues

点评：We stayed in the accommodation next to Rogan and Co.
Generally, the accommodation was good and the room was clean and comfortable.
We did have a couple of issues:
1. We were not really given any choice for breakfast as is normal. We were given a selection of food from what would be a full English breakfast and offered fruit juices but no fruit or cereal.
2. When we arrived in Cartmel we were told to park in the public car park and then phone the hotel. However, the hotel is some distance from the car park, when carrying a number of heavy cases. So when we discovered where we were actually staying we drove back into the village so we could stop near the hotel entrance. It would be much more sensible if you told guests where they were staying exactly so the luggage could be dropped off, before perhaps returning to the public car park.
Apart from this, we found the staff friendly and helpful and the room comfortable and well appointed.
