L'Enclume的点评
点评：Yes, it's our weakness, finding and eating at what are claimed to be the top eateries around the world. Having owned such a restaurant myself, I love to watch the mechanics of the operation in play; unfortunately, there are far too few eateries clinging to the standards of silver service, and other aspects provided in these places.
Onto our L'Enclume experience.
The food was theatrical and imaginative, as well as tasty, and well worth the stay in the Lake District, arranged around our visit.
We were however, sat a table which felt like being sat on the middle of a roundabout. During the whole meal, we had staff and customers wishing past us to the various parts of the restaurant; so, if there was any atmosphere, it was lost to the cacophony created by the whirling Dervishes, so engrossed in providing, we guess, an excellent service to the diners!
Suggestion?
Provide a more relaxed atmosphere, rather than being sat at Euston station.
Provide a more personal service, not fawing, but a warm approach.
