点评：We visited Yara on a Saturday afternoon for a friends birthday. We had booked in advance as there was 8 of us. We have all visited previously and had great experiences so never expected any different on this occasion. Firstly on a positive note, mostly our food was really good. I had sea bass which could have been hotter but was very well cooked and flavoured. Our issue was with our server who turned out to be the Manager. He couldn’t have made us feel less welcome if he tried. We had to ask for everything from glasses to put our drinks in (it’s a BYO) to asking to place an order. He sat behind the bar scrolling on his phone doing nothing to make our time there relaxed and easy. To top it off it was absolutely freezing in there. We did make our feelings known to him at the end of the meal but he even disagreed with our complaint!
Such a shame as the staff who started to arrive for the evening shift at around 5pm were lovely. The place came to life with the staff change over who all had a positive attitude and looked like they wanted to be there. Just because of the Manager I’m not sure I will return unfortunately
