梅多莱克Travelodge by Wyndham酒店的点评
点评：The hotel smelled off and the staff was not attentive and not friendly at all. It felt like we were not welcome even though we paid for our room. For the duration of our stay, we noticed that there was hardly anyone at the front desk. It was always empty. We got a room with a King bed and upon arrival, the room smelled off as if it was smoked in. There were a lot of flies in our room and as we opened the curtain, we were shocked to see how many flies were by the window. We immediately returned to the front desk and asked if we could have a change of room. They said they were booked up so we had to be downgraded into a smaller room. The next room wasn't clean either but unfortunately, that was our only option. The towels did not seem clean either as they were stained and discoloured.
When we checked out the next day, we asked the front desk if there was any type of compensation because we got downgraded due to the issue with the room they provided but the staff completely ignored what we said and checked us out anyway. She seemed to be occupied with something else and was rude to us.
Like other reviews, the pool was supposedly under maintenance. I can surely confirm that it has been "under maintenance" for over a year now. Definitely overpriced and not worth the price for what we had to pay.
Would not recommend staying at the Travelodge Meadow Lake to anyone.
