点评：Did you know that the 1969 lunar modular that landed on the moon, its legs were made in Montreal using titanium from a nearby mine. Did you know that route 138 did not reach here until 1976? A few of the interesting facts we learned during our visit.
The museum is located in a historical general store and visitors can explore a permanent exhibit which recounts the history of Havre Saint Pierre from the 1850s to the present day. The museum is small but really well done and learning about the history of the inhabitants was interesting. Deported from Acadia, these people first migrated to the Magdalen Islands and then fled to Havre-Saint-Pierre. There are also several audio exhibits that are very worthwhile to take the time and listen to.
A perfect activity on a rainy day.
