点评:The service was excellent. Our waitress answered all our questions with enthusiasm. The mussels cooked in wine and cream were absolutely the best I have ever had. Too many chefs overcook mussels so they are tough. These were plump and juicy. The sauce was a blend of wine and cream, just exquisite. The veal and mushrooms was very good. The plate was beautiful with carrots, broccoli and roast potatoes in balance. I just wish there was more veal. My wife’s salad was fresh and had a variety of greens in texture and color. She had the shrimp Pernod which was both generous and tasty. It might have been a bit salty but not too much and the Pernod was subtle in the preparation. We had a special vanilla cake which was moist and tasty. But the better dessert was the chocolate mousse cake which had a rich frosting. I didn’t have to pay for that because it was my birthday gift from the restaurant. We both had the table d’hote specials so saved significantly from purchasing the items a la carte. There were 5 other March birthdays the Saturday we celebrated. The restaurant staff graciously celebrated the other guests as well.
