Wild Bill's Sports Saloon - Fargo的点评
点评：Wild Bill's was across the parking lot from my hotel. The restaurant was huge. It definitely a Western themed sports bar. It was so nice out I asked to sit out on the patio. That was huge also, and a bit noisy because of the nearby busy street. Looking around I realized I was once again dining at a re-purposed service station. I took a while before Peter came out so asked if I had been looked after. The menu was quite large and reasonably priced. I love fajitas so I ordered Steak Fajitas. When they came out, there was no sizzle in the cast iron pan. I gave Peter a weird look, but he didn't say anything. Giving them the benefit of the doubt I dug in. My second clue was the liquid at the bottom of the pan. My guess was that the plate had sat on the counter too long and begin to steam. The steak was tough and over cooked. The meat along with the grilled peppers and onions were nicely seasoned but missing that nice grilled experience. The guacamole and sour cream were okay, but I found the salsa blah. The tortillas were also overdone. I should have said something, but no one came out to ask how my meal was. Maybe short staffing was an issue. I was disappointed. However, if I return to Fargo I would be willing to give them a second chance given they are so close to the hotel I usually stay at.
