点评：We have been loyal customers to Brasserie for years, but probably going to go elsewhere for a couple of reasons. 1) prices on menu went up but the quality and food portions went done. 2) they now charge a convenience fee of 3.25% but don’t disclose this upfront. Only until you ask. It is at the very bottom of the receipt in small print, but the larger print TOTAL states a different total. Nothing about this being the cash price here. I asked about it and Heather stated it was because the staff was having to pay the convenience fee out of the till (tips). This is not right for many reasons! the CC convenience fee is part of doing business. We have a business and these fees are written off by our CPA. Never would we charge our own customers a convenience fee..! The owners of this restaurant should reconsider this charge. If you don’t want to accept credit cards, then go ‘cash only.’ We won’t be going back until the convenience fee goes away!
