Nightmare at the Grandview Lodge

点评：This was one of the worst places we have ever been to. The website is a total fraud. Nothing was like it was supposed to be. From the time we entered the tired old dirty building to find no one there to register you in, to the examination of the horrid room, we were appalled. A total mess was all we found. The family room was filled with dusty old furniture that looked like it had been there for years. It was filled with too much junk and was an absolute mess. Told to check out the room (key was in the door) we made our way down a nasty path past covered up garbage to a horrid room that lacked every convenience known to mankind. The "television" screen was hanging from a mirror, the room was incredibly dark, with no blinds on one window, a hole in the ceiling, a filthy and a drab bathroom that I would not allow anyone to use. We were concerned for our safety and health.
When we returned to the check in area (that is a joke), the woman told us she could not do a refund because she didn't have any information there. Then she said to call her husband and turned away and left us standing there. There was nothing more to do than leave since there was no way we were going to stay there. Fortunately, we found a hotel room at the Hampton Inn in Black Mountain, NC. It was worth the drive to go to a clean facility.
Do not go to this establishment. I don't know how they stay in business running such a place. What a huge disappointment.
