First Watch的点评
点评：This is now, sadly, another Wake Forest restaurant we will remove from our list to patron.
Our disappointments included:
1. Our table was dirty. There were several large pools of old, sticky syrup there when we were directed to sit down.
2. When we notified our server we were there celebrating a birthday, they said nothing. Not even a “Happy Birthday.” They were completely tuned out.
3. Our server didn’t give us any utensils. We had to go to another table to get some.
4. They were out of a common, main ingredient, which effected a good portion of the menu. They said they had more, but were unwilling to defrost, or sub with any comparable ingredient.
5. For the number of waitstaff milling about, service for us and surrounding tables was slow, inattentive, and unenthusiastic.
6. One of the waitstaff abruptly interrupted the professional conversation of a group dining nearby to ask them some personal questions that were inappropriate for the setting.
7. Management felt inexperienced, immature, or unengaged.
We will not be returning. So far in our travels throughout NC and across country, only one First Watch had great service and food, and that was in Phoenix, AZ.
Eat elsewhere.
