点评:We ate here in November last year and we were looking forward to a lovely dinner again.
We actually made a detour to stop in Cootamundra for the night based on this little restaurant.
We were one of the very first tables to arrive for the evening.
I can’t tell you how disappointed we were.
From the table service to the food.
Our trout pate was not even mixed through the cream cheese properly ( no excuse for that ) The lamb skewers were so tough we hope they took notice of what we left behind. The pork chop was not seasoned at all and very disappointing. The pork taco was ok but nothing special.
We decided not to stay for dessert as we had waited far too long for the rest of our meal, and then to come out so poorly prepared was not enticing enough for any sweets.
The staff were clearly run off their feet for the amount of covers in the restaurant.
By the time we left the restaurant was almost full.
Having taken over this restaurant in December last year, I do wish the new owners well in their new endeavours .
There is much to know about running a successful restaurant and I do hope that next time we call by things have improved
There is not much competition in this town and you have a great opportunity if you can “ just get it right “
