点评：We went to Salt 64 as a family on the recommendation from another family member. For the prices, one would expect not only stellar food but service as well. $50.00 for a filet and $22.00 for chicken breast, outrageous. The food quality and quantity did not own up to the prices.
It seems that because Oak Island has a lot of retirees and vacation properties, the sky is the limit for whatever price is paid for mediocrity. I think that Salt is taking advantage of their location and I don't believe their food meets expectations.
The atmosphere was decent. The dining room was well taken care of. Were the staff were courteous, they certainly were not that attentive. The biggest problem is, everywhere we went on Oak Island, we found mediocrity. That is a big problem on the outer banks of NC. The beaches are nice and uncrowded. The dining experience, I found nothing impressive at all.
