点评：Ernesto is an awesome server. Friendly, welcoming and spot-on. The menu is amazing, too! We arrived and the place was crowded, but we were seated right away. Orders were taken, drinks arrived quickly.
Then the food arrived quickly but needed improvement. We’ve eaten in Mexican restaurants all over, preparation and ingredients varies, but the authentic seasonings bring out the flavors.
Guys…your kitchen needs work, unless the local tastes demand a bland product. The bean dip was just texture, no bean flavor nor anything else. We had chimichangas, and the portions were amazing, but the seasoning was lacking.
The Spanish rice was just “rice”. The beans were just a tasteless glop. The chimichangas were interesting. The preparation was loaded with grilled veggies and meat. The chicken was grilled well, but tasteless. The ground beef was well cooked, but tasteless. This all beyond the salt and pepper at the table.
The chili tells no and tamale sides were god, however.
The chef needs to take a field trip to some other Mexican restaurants and check out the seasonings. I’ll qualify this with a dash of reasonable doubt. If local palettes like a blander fare…stay the course. We’ll stay ours elsewhere…
