Meadowlark Motel with Restaurant & Bar的点评
点评：Visiting this beautiful area with friends who had been frequenting the Meadowlark for years. I was so excited about this really cool place with weekend BBQ dinners on the creek at a pavilion, karayoke, firepits, rocking chairs on the porch, restaurant and bar... sounded too good to be true. And it was. I will say... it was clean, the staff was friendly, there was a free grab & go breakfast area, there was a tiny crowded bar area with live music, the beds were firm and comfortable, the ice machine was working, there were sturdy rocking chairs outside each room, there were firepits with wood provided (but no starters or kindling), and the other guests around us were fun, friendly, and down-to-earth. But the pool was closed, the pavilion dinners are a thing of the past, the restaurant was closed, no ventilation in the bathroom and the tiny window would not open, the TV is Roku (whatever that is) and we could never get it work for anything but streaming so no local TV or network programs. Neither could anyone else around us. The gathering place in the evenings is on the concrete area outside the rooms and there is a table and rocking chairs. It was fun talking with the other guests but there are bright overhead lights and they attracted bugs and made it difficult to view the beautiful mountains in front of us. This could be a really cool place, and I'm sure it once was. But there are a lot of improvements that could be made to bring it back to it's former glory. In the meanwhile, please update your website with the actual amenities you now provide and concentrate on providing the extras that will continue to bring your guests back again.
