Outwest Steakhouse的点评
点评：Had been hearing about this place for a good while, so we decided to go there for dinner to celebrate my wife’s birthday.
We arrived at 4:40 PM just after opening. We were seated promptly and our waiter came over very soon thereafter to get our drink order. I ordered coffee and a glass of water. The coffee was awful and tasted old. He returned maybe 5 minutes later and got our dinner order.
Other than the bad coffee everything was going fine up to this point. We waited over 50 minutes for our steaks. During this time we were visited once by our waiter.
Now I’m a patient guy, but 50 minutes for 3 steaks and potatoes at 5:00 PM is a bit much.
The steaks were cooked just a bit over what we like but not awful. They were very flavorful but on the tough side. My wife ordered a filet mignon with some mushroom sauce. It too had a great flavor but was tough. Personally I think it was a sirloin smothered in sauce. The sweet potatoes were very good.
Oh, and you will not get any bread unless you ask. I did inquire about halfway through our dinner. The waiter did bring some hard tasteless rolls and told us “we don’t ask if you want bread but if you ask for it we have to bring it”.
Overall we were quite disappointed for a $200.00 dining experience. I really expected better. Honestly, Longhorn Steakhouse on Battleground or Texas Roadhouse in Burlington beats them hands down in the quality of food at a significant lower price.
